What we collect
When you connect an Instagram Professional account, ReplySprout processes the account ID and username, access authorization, selected post or Reel IDs, automation keywords, destination links, eligible comment IDs and text, and delivery results. We also process basic security and service logs.
How we use it
We use this information only to connect your account, detect comments that match rules you create, send the requested private message and public confirmation, prevent duplicate sends, show basic delivery metrics, secure the service, and troubleshoot failures.
Website analytics
If you choose “Accept analytics,” Google Analytics measures page views and interactions so we can improve the website. Analytics is off until you consent, advertising storage stays off, and you can clear your choice in your browser storage.
Sharing
We send the information required to provide the service to Meta through its official Instagram API and to infrastructure providers that host ReplySprout. We do not sell personal information or use Instagram data for advertising.
Storage and security
Access tokens are protected and are not shown to other ReplySprout users. We limit access to operational data and retain it only for service operation, security, legal obligations, and resolving delivery issues.
Your choices
You can pause an automation or disconnect Instagram access. You may request access to or deletion of your ReplySprout data by following our data deletion instructions.

Instagram conversations
When you use the conversation feature, ReplySprout processes incoming message text, replies sent through ReplySprout, Instagram account and recipient identifiers, message identifiers, timestamps, delivery status, and whether an attachment is present. Earlier conversations are not imported.
We use these records to display your conversations, let you reply after a recipient contacts you, prevent duplicate sends, and troubleshoot delivery. We do not use these messages to train AI models or for advertising.
Conversation retention and deletion
Conversation records and send records are retained for up to 30 days and removed by scheduled cleanup. The conversation screen shows up to 50 recent conversations and 100 messages per conversation.
You can select “Delete stored message text” in a conversation to clear its stored message text, including send records. Identifiers, timestamps and delivery status remain until scheduled cleanup. This action does not delete messages held by Instagram. To request deletion of all account data, use our data deletion instructions.
